Balchem Encapsulates, New Hampton, NY, and David Michael & Co. have en­tered into a strategic alliance to manufacture and market microencapsulated flavors throughout North America. Under the agreement, Balchem will mi­cro­encapsulate a broad range of flavors for David Michael, which will be marketed under the trademark MichaelCap mi­croencapsulated with Bal­chem. These flavors will have applications within a number of food and beverage categories including bakery, dairy, tea, coffee, confections, meats and nutraceuticals.
